Butchery Courses

As Deerstalkers, we naturally love deer. We also love cooking and found that a surprisingly large number of stalkers were bereft of the skills and unaware of the processes post gralloch. This course is designed to progress the knowledge and understanding of handling carcasses, law, game dealer requirements and the development of skills for home butchery.

Gaining high quality venison from your carcass and butchering this to a retail level is the prime aim of the course.

A practical day, based at various locations, we provide joining instructions, reference notes and equipment for you to use and take away, along with the fabulous Venison you will have produced from the carcass we provide
