Hunting Abroad

Wild Boar Hunting in Germany

October and December 2011

UK Deer Management Services have managed to secure Wild Boar shooting in Germany near the City of Hannover. Hannover is approximately 7 hours drive from Calais. Our party will be 25 - 30. For those who wish to fly there are regular flights to Hannover from Stanstead Airport in the UK see www.airberlin.com early booking recommended to keep price down approximate price of air ticket £200 - £250.

We will be hunting on two Estates over two days of approximately 800 ha each. The area is hilly with max 400m above sea level. The forest area is mixed with oak, beech and spruce.

The package we have managed to secure will include all Shooting & Trophy fees for Wild boar. In the hunting area they also have Red, Fallow and Roe Deer cull animals of these species can also be shot as part of the package. Trophy Deer are not included a full briefing will be given prior the hunting. It May also be possible to shot Fox, Pine Martin & Racoon.

The cost of the package is £1175 per person. A deposit of £600 is required on booking the remainder to be paid by the 1st November 2011.

Travel to and from Berlin is not included in the package price

The following is a list of requirements:

Firearms a rifle of .270, 7x57, 25.06 cal or larger is required with a minimum bullet weight of 100gr. I would recommend taking 40 rds of ammunition. It may be possible to loan a rifle and ammunition please ask.
A German Hunting Permit is needed in the area where we will be hunting. There will be a small charge for the Permit.
A European Firearms Pass (EFP) is needed these can be obtained from the Police Constabulary that issued your Firearms Certificate (FAC). There is no charge for this pass you will need to bring both your FAC and EFP on the trip. I will need your Euro pass so that I can obtain you German Hunting Permit.

Day 4 Breakfast and depart Hotel
(Remember to pay for drinks etc booked to your rooms)

Boar - No trophy fee – Prohibited to shoot sow.
Roe Deer - No Trophy fee – Prohibited to shoot Roe Bucks
Red Deer and Fallow Deer – Information on arrival.
